Xiaomi introduced its Xiaomi 14 series, featuring its latest HyperOS, to the Chinese market in October 2023. The series comprises two smartphones: the standard Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Now, Xiaomi is expanding the lineup with the addition of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

A recent post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo confirms that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will debut at an event in China on February 22. Furthermore, the event page on Xiaomi’s Chinese website reveals plans to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for the global market on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. Additionally, speculations suggest that Xiaomi may also introduce the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro tablet during the China launch event.

The company also utilized the social media platform X to unveil the global launch date of the smartphone.

Moreover, the Xiaomi 14 series is scheduled to make its debut in India on March 7.

Previously, CEO Lei Jun shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) confirming that the phone would be available in Black and White color variants. The accompanying images in the post offer a glimpse of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s design, showcasing a prominent, raised circular camera module and hinting at a faux-leather back panel housing four rear camera sensors.

Expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display, the smartphone is rumored to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, mirroring the specifications of the other models in the Xiaomi 14 series. Additionally, speculations suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may run on Android 14-based HyperOS straight out of the box.
