Position: Sales Representative

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL), the leading sugar producer in the country, is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team.
Job Purpose:
To achieve and exceed sales volume and revenue targets within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Illovo Sales Service Offering (ISSO) and Perfect Store Guideline (PSG) for Resellers and Stockists in your assigned territory, adhering to call schedules and structured sales calls.
- Contribute to the development of sales targets for the territory and individual customers, track sales performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the First Mile by understanding customer needs, communicating effectively, and working closely with Logistics and Finance to fulfill commitments.
- Drive order fulfillment to meet sales targets and increase sales volumes by conducting effective customer reviews and leveraging sales call stories and profit conversations.
- Inform customers of pricing changes and influence recommended retail prices (RRP) at the store level.
- Record and update customer interactions and call information using the Sales Force Automation tool.
- Support Trade Marketing campaigns through direct activities and by guiding company and third-party employees.
- Identify and report on market trends and competitor activities.
- Monitor and report on adherence to quality standards within the trade.
- Collaborate with Telesales, LOC, and Credit Control to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
- Promote and comply with Illovo SHERQ procedures, policies, and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Marketing is an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Business acumen, customer focus, effective communication, assertiveness, influencing and negotiating skills, teamwork, planning, time management, and a willingness to learn.
- A clean and valid driving license is required.

Terms of Service:
The successful candidate will be offered a Permanent Contract.
