Karagwe District Council has received the Employment Permit from the Permanent Secretary Office of the President Public Service Management via Letter Ref. Na. FA.170 / 368/01 “B” / 166 dated January 24, 2022. Through the letter, the Executive Director of Karagwe District Council would like to announce to all eligible citizens to apply to fill the vacancy.
QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT: –
Applicant should be a Form Four (IV) or Six (VI) graduate with a Diploma / Certificate degree in one of the following fields: Administration, Law, Social Education, Financial Management, Social Development and Arts Science from Hombolo local government college or any government recognized college.
1 Must be between the ages of 18 and 45
ii. Must be a citizen of Tanzania
iii. Be sane.
iv. He should never have been prosecuted and convicted of a criminal offense
V. Applicant attach a Birth Certificate.
vi. Applicant must attach a detailed CV with address and telephone numbers along with three (3) reliable referees.
vii. All applications should be accompanied by a letter of application, a copy of the professional certificates, a copy of the Form Four or Six certificates for those who have reached that level and the certificates of completion of various training based on the qualifications of the relevant job.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VILLAGE EXECUTIVE
1. Accounting Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the Village
To oversee the protection and security of citizens and their property. To be a peacekeeper and the custodian of good governance in the village.
Coordinate and oversee the planning and implementation of village development plans.
IV. Secretary to all meetings and committees of the Village Council.
V. Respond to and prepare performance reports in its area and encourage citizens to develop and implement strategies to eradicate poverty, hunger and increase productivity.
VI. Leader of unit heads in the Village.
VII. Identify sources of revenue and manage village revenue collection.
VIII. Prepare and maintain a Register of all village residents.
IX. He will be accountable to the County Executive and the Executive Director.
X. Present all important village information to the Ward Executive Officer (WEO)
XI. Arrange and ensure the approval of the schedule of general meeting sessions with the village council.
XII. Monitor village projects and report to village council.
